Extension of the Season’s Schedule: Decisions of the KHL Board of Directors

On Thursday, the KHL Board of Directors had a meeting during which decisions were made regarding changes to the championship schedule.

The KHL Board of Directors has approved new end-of-season dates for the Fonbet KHL Championship and OLIMPBET JHL Championship starting from the 2024-2025 season – May 31.

In connection with these changes, the deadlines for preseason training camps have been reduced, and a ban has been imposed on their conduct during the following periods:

From Jun 1 to Jul 31 inclusive for players on one-way contracts;

From Jun 1 to Jul 14 inclusive for players on two-way and try-out contracts;

From Jun 1 to Jun 30 inclusive for JHL players and for players on try-out contracts with JHL teams.

At the same time, the offseason in the current year is transitional, and therefore the period starting from May 1, 2024, falls under the specified ban.
